Aishatu John, Founder
Aijay Consults specializes in consulting, caregiver training, SME development, and policy and advocacy review. To date, we've trained over 2,000 teachers and caregivers across Nigeria.
Aishatu John, our founder, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community development, policy consulting, and entrepreneurship. She has worked across multiple areas of the development sector, with a particular strength in managing complex, donor-funded projects and interventions.
Her expertise spans designing, implementing, and monitoring development and climate initiatives across Africa. Notably, she secured a $50,000 grant from the UNDP Small Grants Programme to run a plastic action campaign across four satellite communities surrounding Nigeria's Federal Capital Territory.
Aishatu holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Trauma Management from Veritas University and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, and has authored several publications in her field. Her research and advocacy work centers on social welfare and community development policy, with a specific focus on child development — an interest reflected in her extensive volunteer work in early childhood education.
